Yi 12: Linda Ronstadt Night at GW&S last night

Lingering post-GW&S per the routine with Lewis, Greg and Juan last night, the music landed on Linda Ronstadt, particularly her Spanish songs, and we sang along, mostly Greg and I. After awhile a young lady - Kay - came over from down the way, having heard the music. Turns out she's a president (or something similar) of a Linda Ronstadt Fan Club. I stumped her when I asked about the album featuring David Clayton Thomas on one side and Linda Ronstadt with the Stone Poneys on the other, but she did know of the Stone Poneys connection. Kinda weird and way cool, some sort of suggestion of a sliver of Cosmic Order. Maybe.

Lo Siento Mi Vida...

Hilary Barrett:

"The early Chinese character for 'Opening' shows someone with words rising from their mouth: they seem to be dancing and singing. It means joyful and outgoing expression that opens up communication. Opening brings people together and begins a lively creative process of sharing and exchange."
